See the tight week before it arrives
Monthly totals hide the tight week
A month can end with plenty of cash and still have a week in the middle where you can't make payroll. Weekly is the resolution at which cash problems actually happen, so that's the resolution Clockwork forecasts at.
Bank balances aren't forecasts
The balance tells you what's in the account today. It doesn't know about the receivable that's 40 days late or the loan payment on the 15th. The balance sheet does, and Clockwork builds the forecast from the whole thing.
Every receivable, payable, loan, and payroll run, placed in the week it actually hits
Clockwork reads the open invoices, bills, loan schedules, and payroll cadence in your books and places each one in the week it will clear. That's the difference between a cash forecast and a bank balance with a trend line on it.
Built from your books, kept current as they change.
Nothing to set up and nothing to maintain. Connect QuickBooks or Xero and this is what you get.
Clockwork flags the low point and tells you what moves it
Set a minimum cash floor and Clockwork watches it. When a week dips close, Mira explains what's driving it and suggests the lever: delay a purchase, chase a receivable, shift a hire. You decide; the forecast updates.

Your judgment on top. The model underneath.
If you know something the books don't yet, change it: a customer who always pays late, a hire starting in March, a price increase in Q2. Every week of the forecast recalculates. No formulas to fix, nothing to rebuild.

Loans, fundraising, and capital expenses, modeled in minutes
If there is anything that impacts cash and your balance sheet, you can model out in Clockwork with a couple clicks.

The same forecast, two jobs.

It all comes from the same model.
Every feature reads from one 5-year, 3-statement model built from your books, so the numbers always agree with each other.

Learn moreWhat is a 52-week cash flow forecast?
A week-by-week projection of the cash coming in and going out of a business for the next year, built from the receivables, payables, payroll, loans, and spending patterns in its books. Clockwork builds one automatically from QuickBooks or Xero and updates it every time the books change.
Why weekly instead of monthly?
Because cash runs out on a specific Friday, not at the end of a month. A monthly forecast can show a healthy month that contains a week where payroll and a tax payment land together and the account goes negative. Weekly is the resolution at which the problem is visible in time to fix it.
How is this different from the cash flow report in QuickBooks?
QuickBooks shows what happened. Clockwork projects what will happen, week by week, using the open invoices, bills, and loan schedules in your books plus the assumptions you set. It also tells you the low point and what moves it.
Do I have to set it up?
No. Connect your books and the forecast is built. The only assumption worth checking in the first five minutes is your payroll cadence, which Clockwork reads from your payroll provider if you connect one. Everything else can be adjusted later.
Is the weekly forecast on every plan?
Yes. The 52-week cash flow forecast is included on every business plan and every firm plan.
See it on your own numbers.
